Rienecker-Found 11th in High Jump at NCAA Indoor Meet

BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 11, 2023) – Tufts University junior Harry Rienecker-Found finished in a tie for 11th place in the high jump competition at the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships today at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

Making his third NCAA Championships appearance today, Rienecker-Found started well by clearing 1.93m (6'4") and 1.98m (6'6") on his first attempts. However, he could not get over 2.03m (6'7 ¾") cleanly on any of his three attempts.

Rienecker-Found was second among New England competitors at the NCAA high jump, behind only MIT's Jackson Bliey (2.03m – 6'7 ¾"). Sam Beatty of Central College won the national championship in the event by clearing 2.06m (6'9") and having the fewest misses leading up to that.

The Jumbos, who also had Luke Botsford 13th in the 400 meters, did not score any team points at the meet.
