BRIGHTON, MA (March 1, 2024) -- The Tufts University women's track and field squad sent a small unit to the NEICAAA Indoor Championships Friday evening, hosted by The TRACK at New Balance.
In the long jump,
Jordan Andrew finished 16th with a final mark of 5.16 meters, taking second among Division III competitors. In the distance medley relay, the Jumbos group of
Rose Kitz,
Annika Kral,
Emma Smith and Lexi team raced to a strong time of 12:03.82 for third place, topping the previous season-best time for the Jumbos by over 40 seconds.
The time in the DMR was the 23rd fastest in Division III this season.
The Jumbos will host the Tufts Qualifying Meet Saturday inside Gantcher Field House starting at 10 a.m.
