VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (March 9, 2024) -- The Tufts University men's track and field squad concluded its 2023-24 indoor season on Saturday, as the Jumbos has a pair of competitors at the second and final day of the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, hosted at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, VA.
Senior
Carter Rosewell finished action in the heptathlon, as he took 10th place in a strong field overall. Rosewell posted 4,875 points for the weekend,
Rosewell started Saturday with a time of 8.80 seconds, just 0.04 seconds off his personal best to take 11th in the event and add 791 points. In the pole vault, Rosewell cleared 3.85 meters to place 10th overall in the event, and then took 10th in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:54.02.
In the high jump,
Harry Rienecker-Found ended up just one shot out of an All-American spot, as he cleared 1.99 meters to take ninth place. Rienecker-Found needed just one jump to get over 1.94 and 1.99 meters, but wasn't able to clear 2.04 meters.
Tufts will now turn its attention to the outdoor season, which starts March 16 down in South Carolina over Spring Break.
