Luke Benson Competes in Solid Day Two at NCAA Division III Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 15, 2025) - The Tufts University men's indoor track and field team had one athlete compete in day two of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships in the Golisano Training Center at Nazareth University.

First year Luke Benson was the lone Jumbo in competition on day two, and he competed well in the triple jump. He landed a solid jump of 14.11m in the first round before improving to a 14.46m on his second attempt. His day ended early due to a foul on his third attempt, but the first year still placed 12th out of a field of 20 athletes. 

Benson will make his way down to Georgia with the rest of his team to begin the outdoor track and field season at the Emory Spring Break Classic beginning next weekend.
