MEDFORD, MA (March 8, 2025) - The Tufts University men's indoor track and field team concluded their slate of regular season meets as they hosted the Tufts Final Qualifier at the Gantcher Center on Saturday.
The Jumbos had a solid day in the field, beginning with a fourth place finish in the long jump by junior
Sahr Matturi. His mark of 7.03m was just seven centimeters shy of his personal best. Senior
Edward Kiboma took third in the high jump with a mark of 1.98m which was matched by sophomore
Sami Witta who finished fourth due to clearing the bar after one more attempt than Kiboma. Junior
Martin Decker had a good day at the throwing circle, taking fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 14.61m.
The track saw a couple strong finishes as well, including a new school record set by

The men's 4x400m relay finished the day strong with a second place finish. The group of
Brady Kamali,

Josh Wilkie combined for a finish in 3:19.84, two seconds off the best time of the season for the Jumbos.
