LEWISBURG, PA (April 14, 2025) - The Tufts University men's track and field team sent a pair of runners down to Bucknell to compete in the Bison Outdoor Classic this past weekend.
Sophomore
Jonah Reisner kicked off the day with a fantastic finish in the 5000m run. Reisner finished ninth in a field of Division I, II and III athletes with a personal best time in the event. He finished in 14:22.82 for an improvement of over 40 seconds from his previous personal record.
Junior
Amokrane Aouchiche was the other runner to compete for the Jumbos down in Pennsylvania. In a competitive 10,000m run heat, the junior finished 16th overall. His time was a massive personal record, setting the second fastest mark in program history with a 29:55.43. He becomes only the second Jumbo to finish the lengthy event in under 30 minutes.
Both Jumbos will be back in action this weekend as Tufts hosts the Tufts University Sunshine Classic.
