MEDFORD, MA (April 23, 2025) - The Tufts University men's golf team will compete in the 2025 New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships as they look to defend their 2024 Championship Title against the 10 other NESCAC teams. The Jumbos will compete in the 54-hole stroke play tournament on April 25-27 at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.

The Jumbos enter the postseason fresh off of a team win at the Berkshire Invitational with a two-day score of 11 over. Sophomore
Brendan Roy led the squad with a two-day individual score of one over to finish second overall.
The Jumbos claimed their first NESCAC Championship Title in program history last season, following their runner-up bid in the 2023 tournament.Â
Sophomore
JP Noone holds the lowest adjusted scoring average for the Jumbos entering the tournament, with his 74.2 leading the team. He finished fifth at the Berkshire Invitational for his best finish of the season. He holds the number 19 ranking in the region and the 227 ranking nationally.
Roy trails just behind Noone with an adjusted scoring average of 74.7 entering the tournament. His second place finish in Williamstown last weekend was the first of his career, and boosted him to the number 35 ranking regionally and the number 326 ranking nationally.
Junior
Holden Kittelberger will likely compete from the number three position as he enters the tournament with an adjusted scoring average of 75.3. Kittelberger held the top spot at the Berkshire Invitational after round one, but was overtaken in round two to fall to second place. He is tied for Roy with one top three finish this season, and holds the number 40 ranking regionally and the number 389 ranking nationally.
Keegan Carnell,
Eric Lancellotti and
Reed Bodley will compete for the final two spots on the tournament roster after each competing previously this spring. Carnell hit for a 12 over at the Berkshire Invitational, just missing a scoring position to Bodley with a five over. Lancellotti had a rough go of it in Williamstown, but earned a scoring position with a seven over at Bowdoin to close the fall slate.Â
Tufts will tee off on Friday, April 25 at 11:00 am, with pairings to be decided by a random drawing.Â
