MEDFORD, MA (May 22, 2025) -- The release of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Men's Lacrosse awards and All-Americans was Thursday afternoon, and junior attack
Jack Regnery was tabbed as the Iroquois National Outstanding Player of the Year.
Regnery was also selected as the Lt. Col. JI Turnbull Outstanding Attackman, and he joins teammate
Ben Frisoli as award-winners ahead of the NCAA Championship Game. Frisoli was tabbed as the Division III Long Stick Midfielder of the Year after an impressive season on the win.

Charlie Tagliaferri, short-stick d-middie
Cam Delcristo and close defender
Joey Waldbaum.

Michael Ayers was a Second Team honoree, while face-off senior
Parker Merril was selected to the Third Team. Attacks
Max Ettinghausen and
Brooks Hauser were Honorable Mentions, while junior face-off
Victor Salcedo and graduate student goalkeeper
Conner Garzone also earned an Honorable Mention.
Regnery becomes the second Jumbo player to earn both top awards for an attack since Jack Boyden accomplished the feat back in 2023. John Uppgren also earned the double back in 2016 for the Jumbos.
The junior has had another brilliant season for the Jumbos attack, as he has started and played in 19 games while helping Tufts to an undefeated 22-0 mark. The athletic attack has 75 goals and 25 assists, as he has posted back-to-back 100 point seasons for the Jumbos. He was recently named as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year as well.
Frisoli is finally getting his shine after two impressive years as a first-year and sophomore. As a junior, his offensive game has been on full display as the LSM has posted 12 goals to go with six assists. His 12 goals are eighth on the team, while he has added 34 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. His pace and transition mentality is also keep to the pace of how Tufts wants to play.
Delcristo is a vital and key cog for the Jumbos' face-off unit on the wing, and his athleticism and defensive prowess has been huge this season. Delcristo has scooped up 33 ground balls this season in addition to his 12 caused turnovers.
Waldbaum is back on the USILA All-American list for another season after having another incredible year at close defense. The smart and instinctual defender picked up 59 grounders to go with 22 caused turnovers this season, but his leadership and IQ has been far more important.
Tagliaferri has continued to be one of the best offensive middies in the land as a senior, as the 2024 NCAA title game Most Outstanding Player has posted 30 goals to go with a team-high 29 helpers.
Kelly earns First Team honors for the Jumbos after scoring 38 goals, as the physical downhill dodger also has set up an impressive 16 goals from his middie spot. Kelly has tallied two game-winning goals this year, both in overtime against Wesleyan University and Bowdoin College.
Ayers is another multi-year All-American for the Jumbos, as he leads the team in ground balls among non-face-off players with 73 this season. Ayers has forced 20 turnovers the year, while netting a goal and an assist.
Merril earned Third Team accolades after winning an impressive 64.6 percent of his face-offs this season, adding a team-high 119 ground balls.
Ettinghausen has had another great year as a three-year starter at attack, potting 60 goals to go with 13 assists. He has a team-high six game-winning goals, including a game-winner in overtime at No. 3 CNU.
Hauser is one of three 50-goal scorers for the Jumbos, but he has also set up 23 goals as his 73 points is tied for second on the team. Hauser has netted a pair of game-winners.
Salcedo earns his first-ever All-American mention after he had a strong year as the other option of the top face-off duo in the nation. He finished the season 148-for-243, winning 60.9 percent of his draws. He is second on the team with 98 ground balls.
Garzone will finish his career on Sunday in the national title game as the all-time saves leader in program history, as his 907 right now are the most ever at Tufts. He is 80-7 as a starter all-time, and has stopped 57.9 percent of shots this season.
Tufts will take on No. 16 Dickinson College in the NCAA National Championship at Gillette Stadium Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in Foxborough, MA.
