MEDFORD, MA (January 29, 2026) -- The Tufts University women's lacrosse team, ranked No. 2 coming into the 2026 season, was honored with two players on the 2026 USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-American list that was released recently.
Seniors
Allie Zorn and
Elsa Schutt were honored by the publication, as Zorn was tallied as a First Team honoree at attack while Schutt was tabbed as a Third Team pick at midfield. Zorn was the team's leading scorer in 2025 with a team-high 88 points, posting 62 goals to go with 26 assists. She added four game-winners while scoring 23 free position goals.
Schutt was huge in the midfield for the Jumbos, starting 22 of the 23 games on the season. Schutt posted 22 goals and eight assists, while tallying 27 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers and 45 draw controls.
Tufts will hit the road to battle No. 5 Colby College Saturday, February 28 in Waterville, ME in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action.
