MEN'S PERFORMANCE LIST
Seniors
Quinn Hampson,
Cullen McCaleb,
Cam McLeod and
Josh Wilkie along with juniors
Harris Gulbransen and
Sam Kurian qualified to compete nationally with their best marks from the 2025-26 season. The top 20 nationally-ranked individuals and top 12 relays who declare to compete at the NCAA's earn berths.
Tufts' distance medley relay of Hampson, McLeod, Kurian and McCaleb ran a 9:45.46 converted time (flat track to banked track) at the Tufts Final Qualifier on Saturday (Mar. 7). The mark – a school record - ranks #10 on the performance list nationally for the DMR, which closes the first day of NCAA events on Friday at 6:30 PM CST (7:30 PM EST).
Wilkie qualified individually in the 60-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 8.06 seconds at the New England Division III Indoor Championships on March 1. The time ranks 10th entering the national meet. He will run in the prelims on Friday at 1:45 PM CST (2:45 PM EST), while finals if he qualifies on Saturday at 10:40 AM CST (11:40 AM EST).
McCaleb is 17th on the performance list for the 3000 meters, an 8:08.29 time that he ran on Saturday at the Tufts Final Qualifier. The men's 3000 is the last running event of the NCAA Championship on Saturday and is scheduled for 5:50 PM CST (6:50 PM EST).
At Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on February 13, Gulbransen ran a 14:16.20 time for the 5000 meters that stood up and is #18 in the national meet. He will run in a straight final on Friday at 5:05 PM CST (6:05 PM EST).
The times run by the DMR and McCaleb at the Tufts Final Qualifier on Saturday got them into the meet, improving upon previous best-marks that would not have finished in qualifying range.
Of the six Jumbos, Wilkie is the only one who has previously qualified for NCAA's in track & field. He was 17th in the 60-meter hurdles at last year's Indoor Championships. He also qualified Outdoors in 2025 and earned second-team All-America recognition with a 14th-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles.
Gulbransen (twice) and McCaleb have both run in the NCAA Cross Country Championships. They were both All-Americans at the 2025 NCAA meet last November, leading the team to a seventh-place national finish.
The six national qualifiers are the most for the Jumbos since the 2024 indoor squad sent seven individuals to NCAA's.
