Helm Tabbed As NESCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

MEDFORD, MA (April 6, 2026) -- The Tufts University women's lacrosse team improved to 9-2 overall last week with wins over No. 20 Williams College and Connecticut College, and first-year Eleanor Helm had a big week in the wins and was named as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Monday.

Helm became the second Tufts player to earn the honor this season, as junior Schuyler Lloyd also was honored back on March 2. Helm becomes the eighth different Jumbo to earn a weekly conference honor since the beginning of the 2021 season.

In a 2-0 week for the Jumbos, Helm tallied six goals and 10 assists for a total of 16 points in wins over Williams and Connecticut College. Helm also added 10 ground balls, including eight against Williams, the highest total for a Jumbos field player since 2017. In the win over the Ephs, first-year attack became the 15th player in program history with double-digit points in a game with 10 against Williams (5G, 5A). Helm scored one goal and assisted on five more against Conn. College on Saturday. Helm leads the Jumbos in points (49) and assists (25).

The Jumbos will be back in action Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. at home, taking on Bates College in NESCAC action on Bello Field.
