MEDFORD, MA (April 6, 2026) – Tufts University junior winger
Ethan Ullrick collects some more recognition for his standout debut season as a Jumbo in 2025-26 as he has been named as a member of the New England Division II-III All-Star Team presented by the New England Hockey Writers Association.
Ullrick and the other All-New England All-Star honorees will be recognized at the annual New England Hockey Writers Dinner on Sunday, April 19, at the Prince Restaurant in Saugus, MA.
The Illinois native is one of four New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) players among the 20 student-athletes on the All-New England team. Ullrick led head coach
Pat Norton's Tufts' team in scoring this season with 30 points on 12 goals and 18 assists in 25 games played. He was second in the NESCAC and 34th in the nation with 1.20 points per game. Ullrick's 18 assists and 12 goals both tied for fifth in the conference and he was in first with five game winning goals.

Brendan Fennell fueled a second consecutive solid season for the Jumbos. The team finished the season with a 12-12-1 record and a NESCAC Quarterfinal appearance. The team had six victories against top-25 ranked opponents, No. 14 Trinity, No. 11 Babson, No. 5 University of New England, No. 13 Bowdoin, No. 9 Geneseo, and No. 8 Bowdoin.
Ullrick had a four-game point streak (2 G, 5 A) early on in the winter and six-game point streak (6 G, 6 A) during the push for the postseason. The junior helped the Jumbos host the opening NESCAC tournament round for the second consecutive season. Ullrick picked up two goals and three assists in the final five games of the regular season to help Tufts earn the third seed.
