Summary

Biography

2016 (Junior): Took the field in six of the Jumbos eight games during his junior campaign as the team finished with a 7-1 record and in second place in the NESCAC standings...finished the season with two receptions for a total of 36 yards...blocked a Wesleyan punt in the fourth quarter to help the Jumbos come back for a 17-14 win in the season-opening night game...caught a 29-yard pass that helped set up a third-quarter touchdown in the Jumbos 27-10 win over Amherst...had one reception of seven yards a 44-12 win over Colby. 

2015 (Sophomore): Played five games during his sophomore season as the Jumbos finished the year with a 6-2 record..caught five passes for 36 yards.

2014 (Freshman): Member of varsity team.

Before Tufts: Played for Ashland High School…was a three-time First Team All-Star in football…also played basketball and baseball…an All-State basketball player…a two-time First Team All-Star in baseball...was an Academic All-State selection for basketball...was a member of the National Honors Society...was an honor roll student.

Personal: Son of Elizabeth and John Byrnes…has two brothers, Justin (20) and Kevin (17) and a sister, Marina (14).
