2016 (Junior): Took the field in all eight of the Jumbos games during the season as the team went 7-1 and finsihed in second place in the NESCAC standings...turned in 40 tackles during the season, which was the fourth most on the team...averaged five tackles per game...tied for NESCAC lead with seven pass break-ups during the season...turned in four tackles in the Jumbos 17-14 season-opening win over Wesleyan under the lights...helped a 12-7 win over Bates with five tackles...matched those five tackles with five more in a 1-21 win over Bowdoin...picked up five tackles in the Jumbos 36-28 setback to Trinity...finished with a season-high eight tackles and an endzone interception in the 35-16 win over Williams...in the 27-10 win over Amherst he totaled five tackles...helped with a tackle in the 44-12 over Colby...turned in seven tackles and an interception in the season-ending 48-35 win over Middlebury. 

2015 (Sophomore): Played all eight games for the Jumbos...finished the season with 38 total tackles and 4.8 tackles per game...also had two interceptions and a fumble recovery...had an interception in the season opener and the last game of the year...was a NESCAC All-Academic selection.

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games for the Jumbos his freshman season...recorded three tackles and was a big contributor on special teams.

Before Tufts: Played for Bergen Catholic High School…was a captain his senior year…three-year letter winner…also ran track…off the field, member of the National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society and National Math Honors Society.

Personal: Son of Jose and Kiki Garcia…has two sisters, Reana (26) and Rebecca (20)…uncle, Rudy Garcia, played football at Columbia.
