2016 (Junior): Took the field in all eight of the Jumbos games during the year as they compiled a 7-1 record to finish second in the NESCAC standings...finished the season with 30 tackles and three sacks...the 30 tackles were the seventh most on the team...turned in three tackles and two important quarterback hurries that led to incompletions to help the Jumbos in the season-opening 17-14 win over Wesleyan...had a season-high seven tackles and a sack as the Jumbos topped Bates 12-7 on October 1...totaled three tackles and helped bring the quarterback down once in a 41-21 win over Bowdoin on October 8...finished the set back to Trinity with two tackles and a sack...picked up three tackles in the Jumbos 35-16 win over Williams...turned in four tackles in the Jumbos 27-10 win over Amherst...picked up five tackles on November 5 in a 44-12 win over Colby...finished the season with three tackles and a 1/2 sack in a 48-35 win over Middlebury.

2015 (Sophomore): Played all eight games for the Jumbos this year...finished the season with 31 tackles...lead the NESCAC with nine sacks...had two games this season with multiple sacks, 2.5 against Bates, and 3.5 against Colby...had 9.5 tackles for loss this season.

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in all eight games for the Jumbos his freshman season…recorded seven tackles on the year six of which were solo…as the kicker, he was ten for 11 on extra points and one for two on field goals…the 40-yard field goal he made against Amherst is the second longest field goal in Jumbo football history.

Before Tufts: Played for Arlington High School…was a 2014 Eastern Massachusetts National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete…was selected as a 2014 Massachusetts Shriners All Star…was a 2012 and 2013 Middlesex League All Star…was selected as the 2013 Team MVP…also a member of the indoor track and field team.

Personal: Son of Heather and Leighton Thomas…has a brother, Christopher…father, Leighton, played football for Bowdoin.
